The most important role in my life is being a mother to two incredibly inspiring, beautiful women.

I've worked with space, homes, beautiful items and things I consider treasures — color and art, and how it all makes us feel — for most of my life. Even as a young child, I was always pushing my furniture around the room to see how it made me feel. No stopping a girl who wants to move things.

As Education Coordinator and later Assistant Curator at the Hockaday Center for the Arts in Kalispell, Montana, I witnessed the power of visual communication. I watched visitors and school children connect with the art , continually awed by how both the art itself and visual spaces can evoke emotion and quiet reflection.

I've helped build two homes, remodeled three, and constructed a yurt on sacred land with many friends and helpers.

I’ve owned a women's boutique in Whitefish, Montana for twenty-five years with creative, inspiring partners.

And then —

after selling my share of the partnership to my wonderful co-owner…

had time to reflect, work on some home re-do’s and projects and something truly magical happened. I was given the recognition of the beauty and freedom of

Letting go

of simplifying my life to things that i love being surrounded by.

bags went to the thrift store, bags went to the garbage, items went to “restore.” I felt lighter, and S O G R A T E F U L and i wanted to share this feeling.
